Surviving Hypothermia

Hypothermia happens when your body temperature drops below 95F. It starts with shivering, then progresses through loss of coordination, mild confusion, blueness of the skin, speech degradation, then loss of blood pressure, heart rate drops and shortly, death.

Why this site?

Yes, there are many survival sites, but I wanted to share what we have done to survive a variety of different types of scenarios. We have survived Fire, Ice Storms, Loss of Income, Illness, Accidents, etc, and each take a different strategy.

I'll keep adding and improving our specific category pages, as well as post example articles and information about what others have gone though and survived.

I hope you will find our experiences helpful. Sometimes your only purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others.
